I’ve kick-boxed on Bondi beach, surfed in Brazil and been taught to stand on my head by Madonna’s yoga teacher in Rishikesh. I’ve also participated in everything from beach volleyball to boxing, adventure races to avalanche training (Yes, really. And no, you DON’T want to rely on me finding you).
Combined with my love of the outdoors life, I’ve spent over 15 years working as a journalist for everyone from Marie Claire and Grazia, to The Daily Mail and Reveal. In this time, I’ve interviewed everyone from celebrity fitness trainers and some of the world’s leading dieticians, as well as everyday women with inspirational stories about how they got in shape.
All of these elements have come together to help me create a unique women’s outdoor fitness and healthy lifestyle experience that stays with you for life, not just one camp.
Many women start exercising motivated by the desire to change how they look. Our camps work because they change how you feel. Get that right and exercise really does have the power to change your life.
‘Yes, enough of that guff,’ I hear you say, ‘but what are you actually QUALIFIED in?
I’m a REPS 3 personal trainer, a qualified yoga teacher and a Kettlebells and TRX coach. I also have workshop specialisations in Speed and Strength for Sport, and barefoot running.
But my real speciality? My interest in people and helping them to realise they can achieve anything.

At school, I excelled at gymnastics and scored the highest vault in competitions. I used my head for heights by going to work as cabin crew, where I quickly piled on the pounds. By the age of 25, I weighed 10 ½ stone. Shocked, I started exercising and within eight months, I’d dropped two dress sizes.
It’s an experience that has given me empathy and understanding for those new to exercise. Combined with my experience in marathon running, this gives me the unique insight to help everyone from exercise virgins to the seasoned runner.
My speciality is endurance running, having completed marathons in London, Brighton, and New York. I love the focus and social aspect of running with others, as well as being able to simply plug in my music and escape into my own world as I run.
As a FB/FM trainer and mum, I hope that I can help other women re-claim space for themselves where they can be themselves, rather than a being labelled as a mum, career woman, wife or partner.
Qualifications: YMCA Fitness trainer & Indoor cycle instructor.

No one would guess, but I used to be really good at school high jump, even though I’m only 5ft 4inches. It’s that experience of confounding expectations which I like to pass on to every FitBitch & FitMutha.
The most rewarding thing about being a trainer is helping women to reach the realisation that no matter what their size, shape, height or age, they really can achieve anything.
The most important aspect of being a FitBitch trainer is understanding that everyone is different in terms of their body, goals and motivation. Being able to provide the focus and attention on the individual is the most important part of FitBitch camps. And it’s fun too – I laugh every day!
My speciality is coaching runners from couch to competition and my interest lies in sports psychology to help more FitBitches & FitMuthas realise their potential. I’m always looking at new ways to challenge and make camps truly unique.
Qualifications: REPs 3 fitness professional and Nutrition for Sports Performance
