Step forward for the launch of our limited edition Body Blast courses, accompanied by the five day eating plan based on the principles of the Fast Mimicking Diet. When we launched this in April of this year, clients lost between 3-4lbs in one week.
Everyone has heard about the 5:2 diet and how successful it is for weight-loss and your health. But, here’s the rub…it’s pretty miserable fasting every week for two days.
The new FMD eating plan is devised by Valter Longo, professor of gerontology and biological sciences at the University of California, the same man responsible for the widely known 5:2 eating plan. Except that this new plan involves cutting calories for just five days per month and has been shown to have the same positive effects, improving cholesterol levels, BMI, reduced blood sugar levels and blood pressure, not to mention your waistline.
This course will involve one 60 minute exercise session per day, aimed at improving lean muscle mass, mobility and cardiovascular health and will be accompanied by an eating plan on the FMD principles which means eating 1500 calories on day one, and 750 calories on the remaining four. And then that’s it, you’re done.
**Please note this course and eating plan is NOT suitable for diabetics and you should consult your GP if you have any health condition that may be contraindicated with a intermittent fasting plan.
