A six week healthy eating and exercise challenge featuring a whole variety of workouts from the world of Pilates, Yoga, Boxing, running, kettle bells, circuits and games, we programme the course to ensure your body is always challenged to keep it changing and you’re always  having fun.

Those who commit to the six week course will get an complimentary one on one assessment before, during and after the course, where we will discuss your goals and measure your body statistics so that you can see the difference from the beginning to the end (four weeks, beginning and end only). The course, as always, comes with our complimentary eating plans which have helped hundreds of women lose weight over the last eight years.

Transform 45, Queen’s Park

We’re back at Queen’s Park for the summer months, starting off with our Transform in 45 class.

 

Have fun while building your body

What happens in that 45 minutes? Well, that’s a secret but you can expect a mixture of exercises to help you build lean  muscle, essential to help you rebalance your hormones and metabolism, as well as transforming your shape, fun aerobic work, boxing and more. Every Monday will be different so you’ll never know quite what to expect.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never exercised before or you’re used to exercising regularly, this 45 minute class will be adjusted accordingly to give you the challenge that you need to push outside of your comfort zone which is where real transformation happens.

If we get enough interest in this session we will look at extending it to another session also.

No single session drop ins. Purchase in four week blocks, £44 although you can extend one session into the next block as long it is with prior agreement via email. This allows for holidays/appointments but does NOT cover missing class due to inclement weather . No BANK HOLIDAY CLASS.

Available 6.15am to 7am and 7am-7.45am.

Boxing Belles

There is no better way of getting rid of stress and feeling fantastic than a boxing session. And with good technique, it delivers a fantastic all over body strength and conditioning workout, particularly when combined with kettlebells.

This 45 minute class incorporates boxing sessions segmented into three minute rounds to replicate real-time boxing ring conditions, along with a final 15 minute kettle bell workout, to help build strength and stability.

Lifting weights, particularly in your 30s, 40s and upwards is vital for maintaining muscle tissue which, in turn, helps balance and boost optimum hormone health.

If you’ve never tried boxing or kettle bells before, don’t worry, we run through technique and re-instill this even if you have done it before. Good technique means that you use the right muscles which means that you get even better results.

Location: The class takes place in front of the old Bowling Pavilion adjacent to the children’s playground in Preston Park.

Classes cost £12 per session or you can book ten classes to before April 1st 2018 for £100.

HiiT SQUAD

If you’re training for a running race, cycle event or triathlon, fitting in the necessary strength and conditioning is REALLY difficult. And so most people ignore it but you do so at your peril!

Strength and conditioning will not only IMPROVE your performance and could help make you faster, more importantly, it can help prevent injury and ensure you can carry on participating and doing the things  you love no matter what your age.

And even if you are NOT training for sport but want to get super fit and strong and lose weight but on half the time, then HIIT is your answer.

This 30 minute session incorporates interval style strength training, some with weights, some using body weight and we have time for a mobility/yoga warm down to help ensure you get your strength, aerobic and flexibility hit in one go.

Hiit SQUAD sessions are open to men and women. It is NOT suitable if you a new mum.

We meet by the cafe on The Level. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.

Pay as you go online by booking before 7.30pm the night before, or book a class pass of 10, £80 or 5, £45 (to be used within 12 or 7 weeks of purchase).

Strength for Runners

Strength work

If you are a runner, strength and conditioning should be as essential to you training as running. It will help you to become a better, more efficient runner and most importantly, help you to prevent injuries. What you spend on strength and conditioning now – particularly if taking on the Brighton Half Marathon or Marathon, will save you lots of money in physio treatments later on.

I’ve been running now for over 17 years, and have done 10 marathons in the last five years, countless half marathons, trail races and long endurance events and have developed this 30 minute class to provide the essential strength work that your body needs. You need to be doing at least three sessions per week but you can use some of these exercises to do your own at home 15 minute version, we’ll show you how.

There are two price options for this event, either book for a minimum of four classes or the full six. WE don’t allow drop ins on this course because we work on a personal level to regress/progress each exercise according to each individual. Plus, to get strong, you need to be consistent which is not possible when you do the occasional class.

The class is strictly limited to 8 people.

Preston Park Fitness Sessions

We’ve just completed the trial of some new format exercise sessions at Preston Park. From Power Yoga to lengthen and strengthen, to Body Athletic to help you find your inner Jessica Ennis, they offer variety and something that will get you fit and feeling great…

We are now continuing the classes at Preston Park through to mid-summer offering a flexible payment system for those who can’t commit to full fitness weeks. But if you’re ready to get super-fit this summer, commit to all the sessions over three weeks and you could pay as little as £5.63 (member*) or £6.25 otherwise.

 

This is how it works

£10/£8 member pay as you go

One Week £35 (8.785 per session) or £31.50 (£7.87) for members

Two weeks, £55 (£6.88) or £41.90 (£6.18)

Three Weeks, £75 (£6.25) or £67.50 (£5.63)

Each week the sessions are as follows

Monday Boxing Belles, a 45  minute fast-paced, fun boxing session to get your endorphins high and sweat out the toxins

Tuesday HiiT for Core and Glutes, a 30 minute focused conditioning class to get your tummy flat and your butt lifted

Wednesday – Body Athletic – a 45 minute session where we help you to find your inner Jessica Ennis. A fun, effective equipment based class

Thursday – Power Yoga, 45 minutes to lengthen and strengthen, you’ll get a sweat on and work your core while mobilising your body

(Children aged 10 and over are welcome to attend with a full paying adult).

Hiit Squad for Runners

Open to men and women, this 30 minute body weight conditioning class is designed exclusively for runners of all levels. Designed to be the missing piece in most runner’s training, this class will make help to get you stronger, fitter and faster – and most importantly help you to avoid injury.

No experience is necessary – Focus, Sweat, Achieve #find your inner athlete

Make sure you arrive on time to start exactly at 6.30am. If you’d prefer not to lie on the lawns, please bring a yoga mat.

Single session: £10 or purchase a class pass of £10 for £80 to be used within 10 weeks.
If you try your first session and love it so much, you can get a half price class pass if you purchase within the week of your first class. (new members to all our brands only)

Marathon Foundations

When it comes to running a marathon, or an event of any distance, having strong foundations in terms of the correct muscles firing, as and when they should, is essential.

While aimed at those training for a marathon or half, it is suitable for all runners.

Build stability in your hips and core, and it will not only help you to avoid injury, it well make you a stronger, more efficient and faster runner.

This small group class of only eight people (open to men and women) continues on from our four week course in November, using anti-gravity training to build strength and endurance, as well as working on mobility and stretching to avoid injury.

It takes place in our indoor studio located near Brighton Pier (parking free at this time in the morning) but if the course is not full, we will also open it to drop ins.

You can choose to book the entire eight week block for £120 (saving £5 per session on the drop in price) or combine it with our Wednesday night Pace and Preparation 14 week course, saving a third off booking this separately.

* Please note Weds evening sessions are women-only.
