Boxing Belles

There is no better way of getting rid of stress and feeling fantastic than a boxing session. And with good technique, it delivers a fantastic all over body strength and conditioning workout, particularly when combined with kettlebells.

This 45 minute class incorporates boxing sessions segmented into three minute rounds to replicate real-time boxing ring conditions, along with a final 15 minute kettle bell workout, to help build strength and stability.

Lifting weights, particularly in your 30s, 40s and upwards is vital for maintaining muscle tissue which, in turn, helps balance and boost optimum hormone health.

If you’ve never tried boxing or kettle bells before, don’t worry, we run through technique and re-instill this even if you have done it before. Good technique means that you use the right muscles which means that you get even better results.

Location: The class takes place in front of the old Bowling Pavilion adjacent to the children’s playground in Preston Park.

Classes cost £12 per session or you can book ten classes to before April 1st 2018 for £100.

Terms and Conditions on 10 classes: Classes are non refundable or exchangeable and must be taken consecutively from April 13th – June 22nd 2018 (no class 25th May).  To book all ten, email You can book individual sessions direct via our booking page.

November 17, 2017 at 9:30
Posted by Rachael Woolston

Do you want to learn to run without injury, with great technique but without the pressure of having to achieve a certain distance? If so, our NEW running seasons are for you.

Support and fun in numbers. With the benefit of personalised coaching

Our focus on each six week term is about building your confidence through strength and technique exercises, along with running to build your endurance. It doesn’t matter what your fitness level, running background or current level of fitness, these courses are designed to work with each of you personally, while being in a group environment so that it’s much more fun and supportive.

We have over eight years of helping women get fit to run, who have then gone on to run marathons and longer. Whatever your dream goal, just to get out and run for some ‘me’ time, or you harbour a secret dream of one day, running a marathon, these running seasons are for you.

You can join us for one season, or continue with us through to the Spring Term 2018. Can’t make this term? That’s fine, join us the next term. What happens in each season will depend on those taking part and will adapt to help each individual achieve their goals. For if there is one thing we know, what starts as your goal at the beginning of one course, can often change by the next – we’ll help you achieve it.

We meet and end at Preston Park Chalet Cafe.

Are you ready?

Each term of six weeks costs £50.

Purchase two for £90 or three for £135
